First entry here. I have no idea how I'm going to do this, but I'll transfer all my fics to this journal. We will see how that works out.

READ - Indivisible

So I realize that everyone seems to be in a mild state of panic about DH coming out and what it will mean for their WIPs. I am in no such state. Obviously because I only really have two WIPs and both are nearly complete. I don't think DH will affect them, and as I haven't started anything new recently I should be fine.

What I'll do is to write the Epilogue for 'Flickers' and I've decided to finish 'The Cinderman's Kiss' in two chapters (which I think is better than having it dangling), so after 'Flickers' that will be updated.

See, I tend to go brain dead after each Harry Potter book comes out. Usually I read and then spend weeks going "Well what the hell am I suppose to do with that." Like when Sirius died. Or when Severus left Hogwarts and Harry decided to skip Seventh Year. So I'll have my WIPs and hopefully after TCK is finish I'll be inspired (or otherwise...).

I finally had a day when when my RL was nice and quiet and I didn't have anything to do or worry about. I said "I'll spend the entire day catching up on all my WIPs. Finish Flickers. Finish my 1st of 2 fics for the Remus/Sirius fest. Heck, I'll even try and write the 2nd to last chapter of TCK." And then I started reading all my favorite fics from my different fandoms. Needless to say I got a grand total of nothing written. Well not nothing nothing but nothing complete.

My apologies by the way. I know I don't usually ramble in my livejournal and some of you may even like me because I only put my fic updates and nothing more here, and that lately I've been updating with these wild thoughts. I figured that it's better to have me say something here than go months in silence because I haven't gotten any fics to update. (I'm either in a better mood recently, or I'm going to crash painfully soon. Either way I felt the desire to share some part of myself outside of cold silences and *coughnotverygoodwritinganywaycough*).

Alright, so because of last night I've woken up this morning to a few e-mails asking me to lock one or two of my fics in particular. I've decided to lock them at the source and as this is the source, a few of my fics are now f-locked, some just to be on the safe side. Just comment somewhere on the LJ if you want to be added to my f-list to read them.

You know what my problem is? Well, aside from the fact that I never finish the fics I start. It's that I can't write sex. I read PWPs and I'm amazed at the way everyone churns out these pages upon pages of sex and yet I cannot. That's usually where I stop in my stories aren't they? Right before the chapter with the sex scene. Because my brain shuts down and I write one sentence and can't think of anything sexual to 1) fit the mood/flow of the fic or 2) really make the scene worth the read. I feel so inadequate. I will finish 'Flickers' and 'TCK'. Really. And I really am trying to work through the block. But you know what else? I signed up for a Remus/Sirius Fuh-Q-Fest! While it's really nice to write about more than Harry and Severus, I feel very out of sync. I am such an idiot. Siriusly.

Lord love a duck. I swear I haven't forgotten that I need to update 'Flickers'. Don't kill me just yet. My RL has just been like a warzone. But I haven't disappeared or anything. And I haven't forgotten the WIPs.
